‘Monkey Muay Thai is a relaxed, friendly, and ego-free place to train in Windsor, whether you’re a beginner or are more experienced. And it’s not just Muay Thai – I’ve been thoroughly enjoying their no-gi grappling and Gi Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes too. Everyone helps each other, and that’s just how it should be. The coaches are always happy to help me find ways around the flexibility issues of my 50-something year old body. Great for all ages, from kids to 50-somethings. Dorian
‘As I approach the big 40, I knew I had to do something about my fitness. I had sat on the side-lines for 3 years watching my Junior Monkey grow and could see first-and the positive influence that the coaches have had on him. I knew then that this was the place that was going to help me.
Carl, Laura, James and Keith are all amazing and everyone helps each other regardless of experience, there is no pressure to be able to perform drills like a pro, you take it at your own pace.
In the 8 months that I have been a member, I have seen such a positive change in my wellbeing and I am improving my fitness every week. My goal is not to be a fighter, just to be a healthier, more confident version of myself
I would definitely recommend Monkey Muay Thai to anyone that wants to improve their fitness, whilst doing something different, amongst a great bunch of people.’ Rachel
‘I have been with this club from day 1 and standards have never dropped. It’s a great team with a tonne of experience to offer from all coaches. All levels are always welcome and newbies are never left out. With the more experienced trainers there is plenty of opportunity to fight and represent the club, but if you just want to have fun with martial arts then no pressure. Anyone looking to join they will never have a problem fitting in as this club has no ‘egos’!’ Ryan
‘Monkey Muay Thai is a great place to train, I’ve been a member for 6 months now. I was welcomed by both trainers, and members from day one. There is a very friendly and positive vibe, whenever you go in to train. There are all levels from beginner to pros, so they cater for what best suits you as an individual. I have trained at two previous clubs, but monkey has by far been the best and definitely I have got the most out of my training here. So if your just looking to get fit, or further your training I’d highly recommend Monkey Muay Thai.‘ Daryl
‘Just wanted to say i’ve had a brilliant 1st week at monkey. Both james and scott have been patient with me and tried really hard to get me involved with everything, its great I cant speak highly enough of them but best of all is the atmosphere at the club. Every person i’ve come accross is helpful and welcoming. Clearly this is part of your work ethic and what you bring to monkey so thanks very much and i’m really happy i signed up straight away.‘ Daniel
‘I attended a Muay Thai session with Carl earlier this year. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Carl clearly knows his stuff and is not only supportive and a good teacher, but also makes it fun and amusing which is important for people who may feel slightly apprehensive about doing Muay Thai for the first time. It’s a great way to build up fitness and learn a new skill. Thanks Carl!’ Sam Bolton
‘Throwing elbows, knees and kicks at someone in a safe environment is brilliant! Carl really gets you working hard and his teaching style makes you want to keep coming back’ James Smith
‘As a beginner to combat sports I found Carl’s approach great and able to cater to all skill levels. Carl likes to have a laugh and keeps the sessions tough but light hearted. Lots of pad and technique work, the session flies by. I couldn’t speak higher of Monkey Muay Thai and recommend to all’ James Doran
